Inspiration can come from anywhere, at any time, you just need to be open to it…

I haven’t picked a paint brush up – other than the decorating kind – for what is probably years. But recently I have been inspired by the band Ghost and their vast fan community. Ghost “fanart” takes many many forms, from digital art to modeling, from costume making to bracelet crafting, makeup design to fine art portraiture.

It is created (and often gifted) by and to a community of the most supportive “have a go” people from literally all walks of life. 

It’s a community where almost 50 year olds like myself are just as welcome as the youngsters celebrating their first favourite band, and it’s a blast.

Delve in to the rich lore of Ghost and you might be inspired too. 

And then… my niece challenged me to make her a Lando Norris inspired peg doll for her car keys… Challenge accepted! Gallery below
